PC [BUG] pet standing on a crop causing glitch

I started a new file when 1.5 came out and I noticed that when my pet (dog) is standing on a crop, the game can't decide which one (the crop or the dog) is infront of which, causing a glitch (?). Like the dog and the crop keep flipping places.

There is a lot of games doing that. Not sure if this can be fixed? Is it annoying? Can you post a video?

Yeah it is pretty annoying, thou it doesn't happen a lot since most of the time I'm not around crops (beach farm). Sorry I don't know how to do that and anyways I just started winter so no crops for a while.
edit: I think it can be fixed since the player doesn't cause this glitch?
