Stardew Valley out of bounds darkness glitch.png

Hi,

This is not a terribly urgent problem, it doesn't affect the game in any other way than visually, that I know of. Would still of course love to be able to fix it somehow? It's weird. ^^; And I have more than 1300 hours clocked in Stardew Valley in Steam, so I know what that should look like. :P

For a month or so, that's been the way the dark, out-of-bounds areas in my game have been looking like. If I remember right, I went to sleep in one of my multiple saves and the screen flickered back and forth with that in the save screen and then that just stuck. It's everywhere, around the buildings, in the caves and mines, even in cutscenes like this one.
Basically, the flat darkness areas are gray instead of black, but the buffer areas around any objects within that background darkness are still properly black.

Game version details:
PC/Steam/Windows10
English
up to date
affects both single- and multiplayer, but only my view

And just in case you're thinking that, no, it's not happening on any other Steam games or anything else on my PC, only affect Stardew.

If there's any way to like, rerun the graphics for the game without killing my saves, I'd be happy to try that or anything, really. The visuals are an important part of Stardew Valley and I'd like to get the smooth blackness of the background back. ;)

Thank you in advance!
