Issue [BUG] Ostriches not hatching

I can't get my ostriches to hatch successfully. When I enter the barn, I get the notification that a new baby has hatched. I name the new animal, but it doesn't spawn in the barn and when I exit and re-enter, I get a second (and third, etc.) notification for the same animal.

I literally have an empty barn, except for the incubator(s), so it can't be from lack of room. Also, my Smapi log doesn't seem to show any related errors, so I kinda doubt this is mod-related.

Er, kinda? In my case, it seems to have something to do with Better Farm Animal Variety. Removing that made the ostriches work properly, and re-adding it broke them again.
