Windows Bug on options menu

I had just recently bought stardew on steam and theres a problem i have as soon as i boot up the game. Whenever i go into the options menu, the mouse gets stuck and can only be moved with the keypad, which wasnt much of a problem until i noticed that as soon as i try to scroll down with the keypad, it scrolls back up (the scrolling back up also happens in the credits page too) and if i wait a little bit, my mouse starts drifting to the corner of my screen. I tried changing my controller settings in steam, but it only happens with stardew and none of my other games. I cant find anything to help with this problem :(

I want to corroborate that this is happening. For me it's happening on this screen.

If I try to move my mouse on this screen, it hard snaps back to the OK button.

I can use directions(WASD) to move the cursor up but not down.

If I try to scroll or use WASD to move the cursor down, it hard snaps the scroll back to the top.

I've tried changing all of my controller input options to enable or disable Steam Input but it makes no difference.

I verified my files and there were no problems there.

I reverted the game to the legacy 1.5 and I did not have the problem.

It also doesn't exists in the "compatibility mode" for 32 bit. It's worth noting that I'm running a 64 bit system.

I'm simply going to start my game with the 32 bit mode and revert to 64 bit and load the save and proceed.

Hope this workaround helps with your issue! I'll let you know if I have any more after reverting.
