Switch [BUG] Multiplayer kicks p2 out when trying to join

Whenever my brother tries to join our co-op farm (local), it shows the farm as joinable but it kicks him straight back to the main menu before even loading onto the farm. Tried every solution out there, have uninstalled and reinstalled, checked for any updates, nothing is working!

Just to be sure, you've tried all the steps listed here (or at least all that apply on console)?
