In winter year 2, when the Wizard sends the letter requesting an iridium bar (this was in a local co-op/split screen game), player 2 was checking the mail when player 1 walked out and it just happened to be the day Gunther finally showed up with the rusty key. The cut scene with Gunther involved both players, and caused a bug where Player 2's letter from the wizard went into the letters collection........but NOT into the journal.
Being still relatively new to this game, it did not dawn on Player 2 to check the journal (and thus NOT go craft and give an iridium bar to the wizard, since she didn't have the journal entry requesting it.....) and resulted in a disliked gift to the wizard, instead of fulfilling the journal entry.
Player 1 *does* have the journal entry but it's still early enough in the game that spending a second iridium bar at this point seems wasteful.
So I guess the bug report is "multi-player cut-scene causes mail not to register in the journal of interrupted player, even though letter remains in that player's collections."
