I have already raised this with the devs directly, but I feel the bug and workaround needs to be known until it is fixed.
Going to sleep with a luck ring equipped can be detrimental to your luck.
Waking up with luck rings equipped grants you no benefit. If you then take the rings off, you will have negative luck.
Putting rings on during the day will grant you the luck as expected, though if you have already slept with them on, you bring your luck back to 0.
To work around the issue, take the rings off before going to bed. Even if you have slept with them on before, everything will he back to normal the following morning.
