Switch [BUG] Leo At Winter Star Event

Currently, if you go to the winter star event and happen to have Leo as the person giving you a gift, but haven't gotten him to move to the island yet, the game crashes as the person giving you a gift loads. My wife and I are playing on multiplayer and can't give gifts at the winter star event this year because we would crash every time. We are playing on the most recent switch version 1.5.4.1 and I got Leo to give a gift to this year but he isn't even there.

Hmmm... I thought this was going to be the other, opposite and already-reported issue. (When you draw Leo to give a gift to, if he's still living on the island he is not there, as you pointed out, so you can't give him a gift... and since you giving a gift is what triggers the scene where you get a gift, you can't get a gift too.) This is an interesting one.

Still, if you have Leo as a gift-giver... can't she give a gift still? She doesn't have anything to do with Leo.
