Solved [BUG?] - Juicy Bugs Wanted! doesn't accept existing inventory

Steps to reproduce:
- accept quest Juicy Bugs Wanted! from special order board
- gather enough bug meat to hit 100
- deliver 100 bug meat to the designated receptacle

Expected:
- quest complete

Observed:
- delivery complete, but "gather 100" step not complete

Seemingly, the first step doesn't count the bug meat you may have already had before accepting the quest. In my case, I had about 20. I busted my butt getting 80 more...it's not easy when you haven't unlocked the Mutant Bug Lair. But I got to 100, and deposited them all...and not only did I fail the quest, receiving no reward, but the 100 bug meat are still gone.

If this is "working as intended", then it frankly sucks. Why should I have to gather the bug meat fresh? What difference does it make? And if that is intentional, at least make sure the messaging is clear. And don't take my bug meat and flush it out of the universe if I'm not allowed to complete the quest.

This is not a bug! If you could complete the quest right away it wouldn't be much of a challenge, the special orders is intended to be more challenging.
However, if you don't complete the quest on time, you haven't lost that bug meat. It will be available to pick up at the lost and found box at Lewis' house after the quest ends.
