Solved [BUG] Journal Scraps not showing in collection menu in multiplayer

I collected two of the journal scraps in the new fern islands area and I cannot see them in my collection menu. I have two friends playing with me and they can see them fine. I am the host. I have right clicked to read them and I can read them fine there, but I can't go back to the collection page to read them again

Update: After the 1.5.4 patch, I still cannot see the journal scraps in the menu; only the secret notes.

I am having the same issue but not in multiplayer. I am not using any mods and I cannot see the journal scraps in the menu; only the secret notes.

I know it's been a while, but collecting another journal scrap completely fixed it from last update. Sorry about the late reply. Hopefully that helps you as well, ZaphB42.

This bug still happens. I've been hosting a coop game with a friend, have only really played this farm with him. None of my journal scraps are appearing in the collections screen. When I utilize SMAPI to add a journal scrap to my inventory, the only one that fixes the issue is when I manually add scrap #1 and view it. Suddenly after this all the scraps I own show up. This is a bug in the base game that has to do with coop, basically the scraps won't appear in collections for the host until scrap 1 is collected.
