PC [BUG] Item duplication

Hi all,

Recently me and my friend while playing multiplayer discovered a bug/exploit where you can put an item on a table at the farmhouse and almost simultaneously pick it up which causes both of us to pick it up duplicating the item in the process for the player that picks it up second.

Playing on:
PC windows 10
latest game version (1.5.4)
Multiplayer mode
Beach farm
we are 2 players with 4 houses on the map (host +3) while the 3rd quit at the beginning, and there is no 4th (yet, aka if someone joins he can).

Although its quite nice to get a bunch of cash/hard to farm items this way and it doesn't really hurt anyone, but I feel this should still be patched for the integrity of the game.

From what has been said in the past and if I understand correctly, the only way to fix this so that the way the code works corrects for the delay involved with two computers communicating would be way too much effort just to fix this relatively minor bug.

And please, don't take this as discouraging you reporting things like this, but it is a well-known bug that's been around a while.

Honestly, there are bigger exploits available anyway. This goes double if you start looking into mods, and since you play on PC you could. I mean, ffs, there's a mod available that lets you spawn whatever items you want in whatever quantity you want.
