After finally meeting the criteria for the statue of perfection, I placed a diamond into grandpa’s shrine and went to sleep. That same night, my spouse asked if I wanted to have a kid. I selected yes, and the sleeping thing went on as usual. When I awoke the next morning however, the toolbar and info icon were not present on the screen and my character could not move. Upon closing the game and re-opening it, the reevaluation occurred as it should.
