Switch [BUG] Giving leo’s parrot to many walnuts

Me and my friend have a farm together and we finally got to the point were we could go to the island together. When we went to meet leo in his hut my friend wanted to give me an emerald but when i accepted it the game gave a walnut to the parrot in the hut. We had the cutscene and then she tried to give the item again thinking I accidentally said yes to the parrot. But then it gave the parrot another walnut. Once again we had the cutscene. Pretty sure this is a bug, has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, it's a known bug in Multiplayer. It's best to avoid giving things close to the parrots because if it happens too often, you might not have enough walnuts to finish all projects.

If you need to trade items on Ginger Island, it is best to put it in a chest and let the other person get it out, due to this bug.
