I was playing English PC multiplayer with my partner, and we visited Ginger Island for the first time. All went well until we tried to leave. Both of us interacted with the boat and chose to leave - he was able to get on the boat and go back to Pelican Town, while I was stuck on the Ginger Island dock next to Willie's boat, unable to do anything at all. No movement, no tools, no HUD, and escape did nothing. The game itself wasn't frozen, animations were playing in the background, I just couldn't do a thing.
We tried letting me pass out at 2am, but once it hit 2am while my partner was in bed time stopped progressing and nothing happened on my end. He tried getting out of bed to make himself pass out to see if that did anything, he was able to do that but the game just said it was waiting for me. Even after I exited the game, he was still stuck waiting for me, and he had to exit as well without saving the day.
We haven't tried doing it again yet, but if it continues I'll add an update. Neither of us use any mods, and since the game didn't crash there was no error log or error messages. Figured yall might want to know about it!
