Switch [BUG] Fruit Trees on Ginger Island

I cannot get any fruit trees to plant in Ginger Island, this is the second thread I'm seeing about it but only the second one.. I just unlocked Ginger Island. I can plant other saplings and fruit but I cannot plant Rice, Taro Tuber or ANY fruit trees. Anyone know anything about this?

How do you mean you can't plant them? What happens when you try to plant it?

For me I can plant the crops but i cant plant fruit trees either. They just keep saying that it cant be grown here. So now im using a mod for planting there

That's not descriptive enough for us to help you. Screenshots of this happening? There are lots of places you can not plant a tree and you're not telling us anything about where you're trying to plant except "on the island". There are lots of tiles there to pick from.
