I was fishing on the southeast pier for the Son of Crimsonfish, trying to complete the Extended Family Qi challenge, and after catching a few fish, I cast again and the game crashed completely. I tried twice - first time was 4:00ish, second time was at 7:30 am. Both times I used an Iridium rod with the Master enchantment, had eaten a Gold Star (via Qi Seasoning) Seafoam Pudding, and had regular bait and a Cork Bobber equipped on the rod.
I think this is probably a location-specific bug; the previous in-game day I caught both Ms. Angler and Glacierfish Jr. in the exact same way.[/SPOILER]
