I was watching my nephew play Stardew Valley when he reached the Festival of Ice. He joined the fishing event but got tired of fishing and decided to leave the event early. Afterward, he realized he could still fish even after the event ended. Curious, he went to bed, hoping the glitch would resolve itself. However, he discovered that he could fish with anything from his inventory, all while still using the fishing rod from the event.
