I accidentally right and left-clicked on the chair at the same time, causing my character to pick it up but also attempt to sit on it at the same time. This caused my character to freeze and I wasn't able to move anymore, I chouldn't even try to sit on a different chair. Ultimately I ended up Alt+f4ing out of it.
