Bug catching !!!

I’m roughly about three days into starting the game and I cannot put it down! I love the idea of collecting items and putting them towards different rewards and things like that - I’m a little ways in, and I can’t believe I still haven’t had the option to collect bugs or receive/catch any wildlife in my surroundings!

I’ve never really actually followed this game until a friend recommended it to me recently so I’m going into this completely unaware. Is this something that’s planned in the future?
are there any talks or any opportunities in the future for us to be able to catch any sort of wildlife, including bugs and have those put towards something?

I don't think collecting WILD animals really fits with the core of the game. (Just my impression!)
But once you've been playing for three days, you'll discover loads of things to collect!
:-)

More ‘environmental tasks’ would definitely be a nice addition, though.
