Trying to create an npc with Miss Coriel's NPC Creator 3 which is really well explained but my main trouble is how to format portraits that I already have. I am really lost and would be very greatful for any help

This should probably be under modding discussion. That being said, if you scroll down to Portraits in this section, it shows how how to lay them out in the image file. Both portrait commands (under dialogue) and a linked doodle in discord show you the specific order.
