So I have just started playing stardew again on the new 1.6 version on my switch. My save file is currently in year 6 (i think) and this bug didn't happen before. After finishing the fishing contest I was supposed to be back home, but the usual transition blackscreen didn't end and there was no music playing. Though I could make the cursor appear by moving my controller. Notable related information may be, that I got second place, caught 3 fish, the forth fish was on the line but the timer interrupted the fishing mini game. I also bought all the new furnisher except the giant christmas tree. I hope that helps. After restarting the game everything work as normal, I just skipped the day and therefore also the event by sleeping until the next day immediately.
