hi, i tried posting on reddit but i figured it might be more helpful to post on here! basically, every time i try to go to sleep my screen remains black and i can't do anything (i've read other people having this problem so i'm guessing it's fairly common but i can't figure out what exactly is wrong with mine).
i've tried verifying files through steam, removed mods that could be relevant, reinstall smapi and etc. based on what i saw briefly in the error logs i'm guessing it has something to do with the children(?) but i tried removing all mods relevant to them (minus free love) as well as go to the witch's hut and remove them in-game (one of them won't disappear as it glitches quite a bit but hasn't caused any issues until now) but nothing seems to work. thank you in advance !!

also i'm on playing on a macOS ventura and 1.5.6 for stardew if that is relevant !!
edit: i managed to figure out that there was a conflict between the fact that i previously had a child named victor and victor from sve (which i recently downloaded). apparently there's a bug where even if you rename the child in the save file, it won't fix the issue. and so i tried to just remove sve completely as it wasn't super integrated into my game, however the issue continues to persists? i'm sort of lost as to what to do
