Solved Black Farm

Sooo...it's happened again. I'm running a ton of mods on PC 1 year and when Spring switched to Summer I went outside and my farm was completely black with the exception of modded decide items. The ground everything like a black whole. I've been able to figure out it's linked to Plytk mod. Has anyone had this happen and how have you fixed it. The first time I just started a new game but I've put so much work into it this time, I'm considering just walking away.

It's best to start with sharing your SMAPI log so we have more information. That link has instructions for how to find and upload it.

Without anything else to go on, my assumption is that the mod author for your farm map, or anything that edits the farm map, left vanilla tilesheets in the assets folder. Removing them (only the vanilla ones that come with the game, like spring_outdoorsTileSheet.png) would fix it if that's the case.

(This is a common mistake when editing directly from the folder you will release, because you need more tilesheets in the folder to edit the map than others need to use it.)

I'd recommend starting by updating the mods that you can, especially More Giant Crops and Four Corners Expanded (if that's the farm map you're using).

Hey thanks your reply. I ended up fixing the issue with a mix of removing mods, uninstalling and reinstalling SDV, it was a pain bit it worked.
