I've been having an issue with BFAV. I'm on a Mac using the most recent unofficial update mod file. I can purchase BFAV animals fine and the day I buy the animals they are fine. Like they are in the barns/coops, moving around, etc. But after any save they turn into vanilla cows (for barn animals) or white chickens (for coop animals). I've troubleshot with almost every old version of BFAV (official and unofficial) and haven't had any luck getting them to work or stick after the first save.
The only thing that has worked is when using the (SF) Aviary mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/13492). Some BFAV animals will stick around only if placed in the aviary building. Any suggestions on fixes for getting BFAV to work right now?
