Attaching tackle to iridium rod in iOS

I have an iridium rod and bought all sorts of tackle. I can’t figure out how to attach tackle to the rod. I am playing on my iPad Mini which uses iOS. Suggestions, please and thank you.

Open your bag, tap a tackle and drag it onto your fishing rod.

Also note, On iOS we don’t have a way to remove the tackle or bait from the fishing rod. The only way would be to replace them with a different kind of tackle/bait.

Have both the pole and the tackle in your bag. Make sure it’s the iridium pole: when you tap and hold it inside your bag, the window pops up with the description and 2 empty slots - 1 for bait and 1 for tackle. Now tap and hold the tackle and drag it on top of the pole, release it and it should be attached. It’s the sane way as attaching the bait to the pole.
