Switch Artifact trove crashing

I see people saying that this issue got fixed in version 1.6.15.3 but I’m still having this issue, I’ve checked that I’m in that version and I’m still crashing and the game still force closes.

I've used the Treasure Totem hundreds of times, before and after the update, and not had any problem digging up Artifact spots. And I've been using the Hoe at maximum to dig up 18 at a time.

You've misunderstood. They aren't talking about worms / digging spots. They're talking about breaking open troves at Clint's. There were issues with that crashing the game, and it appears that OP is still experiencing some issues even after a patch fixed it for most folks

just crashed twice on my switch trying to open up an artifact trove 🥲 and my game is booted to the latest patch. I thought it was an issue on my end, so I tried to reconfigure the settings and lost my whole save file....
