iOS Apple Arcade To OG Stardew Valley?

Hi,

I’ve been playing Stardew Valley on my iPhone through an Apple Arcade subscription. I’m thinking of canceling my Apple Arcade membership and instead purchasing the regular version of the game directly from the App Store.


Before I do that, I want to make sure I won’t lose my progress. Will my save data from the Apple Arcade version carry over to the non-Arcade version if I buy and install it?


Both versions are technically different apps, so I’m worried that my save file might not transfer, or that I’ll have to start from scratch. I also use iCloud, if that makes any difference.

Has anyone done this before? Is there any safe way to keep my progress?

I just had the same issue and was able to transfer my arcade save file to my steam game. Using this thread that links to the wiki page. It's pretty simple I just got confused at some parts. Your arcade saves are in the files app (on your device) not only on the cloud.
