Anyone ever play this?

I wish the video had actual gameplay. I never heard of that one- which is a shame, because I was a fan of Desert Strike. SNES, I think? Been a while.
Yeah desert strike was cool. This game has one call back to it, vaguely, but Soviet Strike is so much better. Nuclear Strike was also pretty good, same gen, but it had its issues.

Here is mission 2 in full, tried to find some small clips but I only could find full level playthroughs. However, I'll forgive it since this guy does a pretty good job about capturing some of the "charm" of this game (for example, finding Elvis in mission 4, and a lot of the tongue in cheek dialogue of enemy soldiers that are sometimes easter eggy), and is obviously a huge fan with how well he knows the levels.

All the missions are challenging to a degree, but the difficulty really picks up in mission 3, and I spent several long nights as a kid trying to beat the final mission. Not sure I should spoil how many missions there are, so I won't, but this game has a pretty coherent story, customizable loadouts (not copilots, but you can find gear to upgrade your chopper with things like a quick winch, and in the last 2 missions there is an AT cannon that can temporarily replace your chaingun. Anyways, I hope you enjoy

Edit: video got deleted

Well, I did ask for gameplay footage...
I would've loved the 3rd person view in the original. If I'm thinking correctly, it was that weird isometric view or whatever.
Yeah, I missed out on a good one!
