1.6 Update Anyone Else Choose THe Meadow Farm? (Switch)

I decided to do the Meadow Farm, honestly I'm glad ConcernedApe added this new farm type because I love chickens (plus easy early money from eggs).

Though I find it funny that the only issue with the farm is a 'first day' glitch that basically makes your chickens vanish if you leave the little gate thing on the coop open the first night, I like his little 'oh it's part of the lore' tweet. When I saw this happen to my own chickens, I just got a new one (was planning on selling the two once they grew up and I was going to get my own chicken from that anyways).

I am now waiting for Moss Season, I want to collect ALL the moss and have the Green Rain happen (seriously it's so cool and pretty).

Moss begins to appear well before the first green rain - just keep an eye out for it on trees.

Not sure what happened to your chickens? I still leave the bird coop door open overnight.

I’ve tried it out and had fun, it’s really beautiful but I’ve done so much with animals that it’s quite hard to get back into an animal focused farm.

And the bug with dissapearing chickens was fixed, though I’m not sure if it’s yet rolled out to every platform.
