an alterhuman is someone who identifies as not fully human ; this can mean someone's a therian (idenifying as an animal spiritually/psychologically/physically; also possibly having had a past life as that animal), otherkin (identifying as some type of mythical/humanoid creature like sirens or angels), etc. :3
there's also an alterhuman wiki that has better/more fleshed out descriptions than what ive put, i recommend looking into that for more info !! ^^

I don't know if I've ever tried to specify it in the 45+ years I've been a cat. Might've done when I was younger and forgot about it. But I definitely have feline instincts, even if my body isn't up to following them all that often nowadays. And sometimes my logical mind stops me, like the time when I had to stop myself from pouncing on a sheep skin drying on a low rectangular stool. Because biting wool is nails-on-blackboard horrible.

I never heard to term alterhuman before, so that's a new one to me. I have a extremely strong personal and spiritual connection to wolves / werewolves. I don't know I really don't like labeling myself however I have thought I could be Therian ( when I was younger ) but maybe part of it I am with other stuff. It's pretty personal and all I'm willing too share here. Human, half or not I respect and accept everyone.
