Up to four games played now. 50% win rate so far, though the two losses we were one turn and two turns away from the end. Some more questions we've run into:
1. Can players give resources to a built Shed or the Chest item at the time the resource is obtained, or can it only be "dropped off" during the planning phase?
Going to *assume* that "traded with" means that you can only give and take items during the planning phase, but we were trying to find any semblance of hope for making the combination of an Iridium Hoe + Iridium Watering Can useful. In related news:
2. Can crops be placed on a tile higher than their indicated number?
The rules state that crops must go on their numbered field, but this makes the Iridium Hoe obsolete; you can't stack 5 of the same crop on a field slot because there are only 4 of each in the supply. If, say, I wanted to plant a Parsnip (normally field 2) in field 3 instead, would this be allowed?
The Hoe does not allow extra stacks per field, but rather *a total* of extra crops scattered anywhere around the field. An Iridium Hoe lets you plant a maximum of 8 crops in an empty field.
3. If there are no more of a resource tile in the supply, can you take something similar?
For instance, can a discarded stone from foraging be used if the four stone from the normal supply are currently in play? If the Giant Crops event is played and all four are currently stacked in the same square, can you fill the other fields with lower valued crops?
Yes, you can take discarded forageables as extra stone!
4. If you have the Bone Sword and a monster's effect is to "End Your Turn" do you still get the additional roll?
The Bone Sword says "After resolving a monster's ability in the Mine, may roll again." The other weapons give you an item upon resolving monster effects which I assume would still happen, whereas the Bone Sword is *technically* another action.
The reroll is lost because the monster effect immediately ends your turn. :(
5. Is the Grandpa's Shrine event card mandatory?
"Reveal 1 new Grandpa's Goal Card, then choose any 1 Grandpa's Goal Card to discard." Do you have a choice in this? This is truly a "make or break" card if it comes up late game. Imagine pulling this thing during the last week of winter and suddenly finding you need to get to level 12 in the mines. Yikes. (Though to be fair, it did make one of my wins much easier since I needed to get to level 12 of the mines, drew this card, and suddenly had won the game because I already had made enough friends!)
6. If you move two times using the Horse / Joja Cola items, are you allowed to take two different forageables?
These two items allow you to move two spaces in a single turn instead of the usual one; since you pass by two different paths, can you pick up two forageable items?
The Horse and Joja Cola Items allow you to get forageables along multiple paths!
7. Do you need to spend materials for the Magic Rock Candy's execution of an End of Turn Effect?
I assume that the effect would be free, but using this at the right time could even be beneficial if it still cost the resources to do it.
It's a free action. Yay. :)
8. Does Jas' Friend Effect mean players can ignore letter assignments while donating?
Essentially, I'm assuming all artifacts and minerals become "?" values?
Thanks for the clarification @Colito and any others that might have more concrete answers on some of these. I've officially gone through every single card and tile in the game at this point so these should be the last of my questions. :)

Hoe | Stardew Valley: The Board Game
I am absolutely LOVING this game so far, but I feel the hoe needs to have its own rule post because I am just not feeling like I understand how it works. Please, can someone tell me which of the below numbered points is the one correct interpretation of how

Stone supplies | Stardew Valley: The Board Game
At beginning of the game there’s only 4 stone tiles. Is this the hard limit? Like if I have 2 and need to take 3, then I guess I can only take 2 more. However as games goes on there might be discard stone tile from foraging. Can I

Bunch of rules questions /clarifications | Stardew Valley: The Board Game
My wife and I are huge fans of the videogame and both enjoyed the board game very much. However we have some rules we need explained/clarified: What happens if you lose hearts/gold/items in the mine but don't have any of those to lose? There's nothing

Item Clarifications (Magic Rock Candy and "take any") | Stardew Valley: The Board Game
Hi all, I ran into a couple of questions playing yesterday: The Magic Rock Candy says you can discard it to execute an end-of-turn effect. It does not specific if you must still pay the cost of the effect or not. Reading the rulebook, I'm included to
