PlayStation Always show energy?

I can't seem to find the option anywhere in settings to always show energy and health. Does it not exist on consoles?

Pretty sure it did on pc. But in a pinch there, we could hover the mouse over the energy bar. But no pointer either for me on ps5, so have no idea how much energy I have left. That is a concern when it's low, and I don't know if I can fish one more time or not.

Can you use the R3 joystick as a cursor/pointer to hover over it?

I dunno if it'll work, but on ps4 I can get a pointer by using R3 joystick, idk if it'll work hovering over it tho

It works this way on Switch as well. About the only thing the pointer is good for on console that I've found.

Yeah I don't use it much, unless decorating/ placing stuff on my farm that I need to get precise lol

Thanks. Didn't know that was possible. R3 shows up with a text bubble function, but it sorta works in normal game mode, with no menus up. Then I can move it over and see, so now I see the max energy level is 270.

However, it doesn't seem to work in any UI menus like inventory or crafting, so can't see energy or health while paused, and can't use a pointer to select craft. Moving around in there can be really unintuitive and frustrating. Like "selecting" lots of empty spaces when I'm trying to move across the screen.

Seems difficult or impossible to quickly refill many machines too? Is there a way?

So far I only have two furnaces, but it looks like this process is smoother on pc with mouse. And oh boy how much I miss the UI info suite mod with info about when the furnace is done, and which crop is in the ground with days until harvesting

It's possible I mix up with Terraria and this isn't fosble on PC SV either, but is there a way to split stacks in half on console? I'm aware of taking out one item from the stack with square (iirc), but would be nice to split wood or stone when eg. going to Robin.

On Switch, there is no way to split a large stack in one go, unfortunately. Holding down the Y (square) button until you get the amount you want is the only way. Same with buying in bulk.

I'd love to be able to hold a shoulder button and press Y for like 25 at a time or something. Buying big stacks of seeds, hay or building materials is super slow at the moment.

That is unfortunate.

I haven't found a use for L3 so far, so pressing down that could be used for splitting a stack in two. Or if there is a different feature even more crucial to implement on consoles.
