Windows Always normal quality eggs (pc)

Since 1.6.9 my chickens and ducks always produce normal Quality eggs. But when I turn it into mayonaise it's getting a star. I never sell my eggs raw so I don't know if they sell for normal or for Quality eggs. But I think the eggs show up as normal But are in fact Quality eggs. Chickens have max vriendschip and are happy and did give high quality in just the 1.6 version.

Same here! For some reason everything out of my coop is normal quality. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

I'm seeing this on mac too. There was another report that if you use an auto-grabber, things have their correct star quality. I'm assuming the mayo gets a star because they're large eggs (although of course no-star large eggs).

That's right! Forgot that mayo gets a star because of large eggs. So the eggs really are just normal then.

That is a game breaking bug for me… plus CN said he might be altering foraging and xp it gains on next patch.

I guess it’s time for another break from Stardew until that is worked out. I’m just glad I didn’t get far in my new game, so a reset won’t be that bad.

I just want a near complete bug free build to start my Mod construction with.

Wonder what other similar games are out there to take a break from the hellscape the globe is turning into these days. Any fun retro gathering/crafting games out there?
