Alternative to 2:00 AM Collapse — Sleep Deprivation Penalties Instead of a Hard Cutoff

Currently, the player collapses automatically at 2:00 AM. This feels restrictive during late-night mining, farming, or events. Instead, players could stay awake past 2:00 AM but suffer increasing penalties until they sleep.

No forced collapse at 2:00 AM
Day 1 without sleep: slight movement speed reduction and less energy recovery from food
Day 2 without sleep: energy cap around 50 percent, health reduced by about 30 percent, more slowness
Day 3 without sleep: severe speed penalty, energy cap around 25 percent, health around 30 percent, random fainting risk
The only way to fully recover would be sleeping a full night

This would give players control instead of an arbitrary cutoff, add a strategic trade-off where you can stay awake for urgent work but pay for it later, and feel more immersive and natural than just passing out at a fixed time

Villagers could comment that you look tired, the farmer could have dark circles under their eyes, and a sleep deprived status icon could appear on the HUD. (Yes I used ChatGPT)
