Allow your spouse to actually access the door and the path way to the house.

Sometimes when i pay attention to my npc spouse, i notice them phasing through the walls into conplete darkness. I suggest allowing them to actually access the door and out of the house to town when they buy groceries. Like they can use the door before marriage but why cant they after? Its a bit weird but its not a big problem.

I agree with you on this

It happened to me a couple times in the past

It would be nice if they could fix this problem in the upcoming update

These are two seperate things, the phasing issue is a current bug, probably to do with the way that the npcs are navigating placed objects

Many spouses if not all do in fact use the door, they'll walk right out on days when they head to town to work or hang with the villagers. They don't walk onto the farm (just walk out the door and teleport to the entry of the bus stop) because then they could possibly break items and potentially make the same bug with them phasing out of the house happen on the farm map if that issue was changed, overall not worth the effort to see the spouse walk 10 extra meters.

I see... i get your point, and it actually make sense why they dont walk out of the farm.

It’s so frustrating when NPCs get stuck due to bad pathing. Maybe adding a priority system for door interactions could help. Have you noticed if this happens more often with certain layouts? Time-consuming tasks often make it difficult to keep up with everything else. This https://academized.com/do-my-assignment resource has been useful when I needed extra time for hobbies. It’s been a lifesaver when I’ve wanted to enjoy gaming without constantly worrying about due dates.
