Windows all of our ginger island progress was disappeared after an update.

this happened one year ago but i just found this forum.. we contacted the support back then but they didnt answer.. the island was full of iridium sprinklers and starfruits..
and somehow our kids disappeared too?? im just wondering if this or similar has ever happened to anyone?
