The only Alembic I know of comes from the Artisan Valley mod.

Looking at the mod code, it looks like you get the recipe in the mail on spring 1 of year 2 or when you hit level 8 farming, whichever comes second. Or at some point you can purchase them from Gus for 1000g, but I'm not sure exactly when that unlocks.
