Issue #1 Adopting cat
Whenever I just started the day or it’s late at night; it doesn’t matter what time it is in the game, when I save my game (save backup in title menu, I always do this because I am paranoid) close the game and start the game by choosing load and click on the only save file I currently have and choose to not start where I left off, walk out of my house, Marnie is there every time asking me if I want to adopt the cat.
The first couple of times it gave me a heart attack because I thought I lost (a lot) of my farm process. But, thankfully, that is not the case. The game is resumes exactly where I left off.
If I choose to continue the game where I left off, this scene is not triggered. Only when I start the day over.
Issue #2 Lag
Sometimes, out of nowhere, the game starts lagging really bad. When I’m walking or when I walk into a building and start a conversation or try to buy/do an action, it doesn’t matter what I am doing at that point.
Typical lag; skipping tiles, game gets really slow. Even when I go to the title screen to save backup it takes a few seconds to load and when I click on “save backup”, it takes a few seconds before you see the button is being pushed in, it holds for a couple of seconds and then it’s released. So yeah, typical lag.
I have to restart the app and then it’s good for a while.
I have not been able to see a pattern. It seems it just happens completely random.
Issue #3 Muting
When I am playing SV and I soft close the app (so it’s still running in the background and I am not in the title screen - I do not know if the following occurs if I am in the title screen) to use my device to browse on the web or check other apps and switch back to the game, certain sound effects are suddenly muted. Note: This doesn’t happen every time I do this, but very often.
Examples:
1. When I am fishing I do not hear the “hit” sound, when I am trying to reel in a fish I do not hear the ”reeling sound”.
2. I do not hear my footsteps anymore.
3. When I am in the mines and using my pickaxe to break stones (with or without a crystal sticking out), I do not hear the pickaxe… picking.
4. Haven’t noticed other sound effects being muted (yet?
).
When this occurs it can be only one from the examples above, or two of them, or even all three of them are being affected.
After restarting the app it‘s temporarily resolved.
