Accidentally gifted a secret note…

So I play on an iPad and I went to tap my secret note whilst in a doorway - Vincent unfortunately walked out at that precise moment and I gifted him it by mistake (and he hated it)

Is there any way of getting this back without restarting my day, or do the notes not drop again? Thank you!

It might appear in your collections tab, and if not, it will drop again.
