Abigail 8 heart event

So I got 8 hearts with abigail. I couldn't trigger the 8 heart event because of the night market. Now we have 9 and she is my gf, but can I still trigger the 8 heart event even though we got 9 and were already dating? If not, does this has any impact on the following heart events or our friendship.

Her 8 heart event can still be triggered.

Her 10 heart event can NOT be triggered if you give her the mermaid pendant after getting to 10 hearts, so trigger that event before asking her to marry.
