Please, can I bring Linus to my farm? We can pay him a salary and everything. He can live with us, and we can build him a house.

There's his 8-hearts-event, when he's offered a house instead of his tent and a life in your farm and he refuses both. He doesn't want to live another way, so no one should make him to.
