1.6 Update A Little Tip for 1.6 Users

With the addition of tents in 1.6, you can use tents on Ginger Island before having the parrots make the hut for you. If you have enough materials to build multiple tents to keep in your inventory, you can stay multiple days without the need of the hut and bypass the 1000 gold needed to pay for the ticket from Willy! Hope it helps for people who were wondering or may not have known!

You even get a few free tents in the jungle so you can stay right off the bat, you only really need a couple days to get enough walnuts for the house so those alone will probably suffice

I also just figured out that if you try to do this in calico desert while a festival is going on...it won't allow you to.
