After a certain friendship level with Maru, you will be able to use her telescope to view the night sky, that also has a few easter eggs, whenever there is about to be a meteor you can see it the night before

That would be pretty cool. Kinda like how you can use Emily's sewing machine, it would be neat if every villager--or at least more of them--had a special thing that unlocked after a certain heart level.
