You just need to hit escape to cancel though, right? Wait let me test this...
Huh. No. The house changed colour. I don't even have to hit the okay button? This can't be right. I know I played around with the colouring feature once and didn't change anything. Wait. Let me try again...
What about these buttons here again? There is an arrow button that switches between house, trim, and roof, a copy button that saves a colour, which then can be added to any part of the house... You could use that to store the default but it's not what I want.
HAH! Got it, the cancel feature is the the first button. with the dash lines. Just touch that button and the original building part colour goes back to the original.
I can see why you made that mistake. That is NOT intuitive. I'll agree that maybe a symbol or text on the button could make the use more clear.
One change that should be done is to allow escape to get you out of painting, without saving changes. Why bother even having an okay button if it doesn't confirm the change. Man, that would have been annoying if it was like that for other things. "Do you want to eat this poison mushroom?" I hit escape and the game thinks I want to eat it? Do I want to leave the mines, woops, hit escape, but the game thought that meant yes? Nah, it assumes I mean NO, as it rightly should. No reason for painting to work differently when hitting escape than anything else.
