First a basement on the top of the house wouldnt be bad for people that loves decorating their house and they cant because of the baby cribs and beds and the other a roof garden would be so niceee, that u could grow some crops there also, maybe bring some "only roof garden crops" for people to be incited to buy the house upgrade and well... grow crops.
