129 Golden Walnuts Found

Pretty much this whole post is nothing but spoilers.

A while ago, a fellow farmer had posted that they had found 129 golden walnuts, but the ever helpful parrots had no more hints. I was in a similar position. But I had an idea. I thought it was possible- ok, highly probable- that I had not won all the golden walnuts I could from the dart mini-game. I headed to the pirates cove and it was raining. So 2 in-game weeks later, it wasn’t raining and I won my 3rd(?) walnut from the pirates.

I think it may be worth checking Prof Snail’s rewards and the dart game if the parrots are out of clues.

There are specific golden walnuts that the hint parrot doesn't tell you, though these have all been noted on wikis. I'm pretty sure some of those include the banana jungle trade, the gem bird statue and the bones for the professor

That’s what I was assuming. I could see accidentally leaving walnuts at Professor Snail’s tent or forgetting to complete the smaller quests. It’s definitely a relief to have found them all!

My last two were from the pirates as well. I searched the whole island over and over until I found that you can get three and not just one from them. This is really helpful and I hope the people confused about why the parrot is not giving anymore clues but they still need walnuts sees this!

The first one you listed is correct, but the other two are incorrect. The parrots do not give clues for...

1. the 3 you get for putting a banana on the shrine by Leo's house
2. the 1 on a bush in the southern part of the gem shrine area
3. the 3 for the pirates' dart game (1 per play)

He gives the clue 'help man in tent', but if you finished the quests, he does not tell you whether you collected the walnuts from the man in the tent. So it's possible to forget collecting your rewards there, and the parrot won't hint any more
