1.6 update page on the wiki

Spotted a page about 1.6 on the Wiki in the modding section. Is this new? Last edited today and with draft vanilla release notes. The notes are understandably mostly about modding with some quality of life improvement updates. There doesn't seem to be anything about new gameplay in the notes but I realise it's alpha information and still changing.

Thought I'd share to see if it was worth getting excited about!

I'd read about it earlier this year but this was the first time I'd seen it mentioned in the wiki. Although I haven't tried mods so I don't tend to frequent that section.

Mostly, from what we understand, the 1.6 update won't be much of an update for content.

As others have mentioned, 1.6 will be focused on making the game easier to mod and allowing mods to access more parts of the game. Pathoschild (the developer of SMAPI) has been working with ConcernedApe on this update, he has also helped write the game's changelog for 1.5. That 1.6 changelog on the wiki does mention some small improvements for everyone that sound like good additions!
