I couldn’t see mention of this.
I haven’t noticed it be an issue when I started a new game but I decided to open an old save file to check out some of the new stuff and when I select nothing in my hands it seems to default hold the first item in my slot after doing anything (eg get off my horse, or when I’m trying to chop a tree or whatever, even walking briefly!)
Which is very frustrating as I had the return scepter in that slot
I can leave the first slot empty but it just requires some monitoring.
