Xbox 1.6 Cat disappeared

I started a new save on 1.6. Got the scene with Marnie bringing the cat on Spring 5, named it Scuba Steve. But then I couldn’t find the cat in the house. Cat is not listed on the pet tab, not located on farm anywhere. But water bowl is still full the two mornings following.

-XBox Series X
-Single player
-used specific seed when creating save


EDIT: Cutscene happened again on Spring 10 and Gremlin seems to have stuck this time.
