Playing single player on a switch lite, version 1.6.9.36. Since the upgrade any decorations placed on the walls in your house can not be removed, including windows. I even tried using tools and they just can't be removed now.

On my switch lite, I was able to pick up the calendar on the wall by using the right joystick to bring up a cursor, selecting the calendar, and then pressing a button (darn, I can never remember which button, but I tried the two main buttons and one did work). Could you try that to see if it works for you?

I am having the same problem, which stinks because I was excited to get my hands on new decor items. I'm sure that CA will have it fixed in no time though!

i had this problem before 1.6.9. some things i could remove from the walls fine, but i had to do what @MogBeoulve suggested with the right joystick to remove windows.
